Welcome back Jon and Stephen

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are returning to the air on Monday, January 7, albeit without their writers. While I have no doubt that Stewart and Colbert can hold their own using their individual comedic talents, the lack of writers is troubling. 2008 is an election year(as you've probably heard, unless you've been locked in a cryogenic freeze chamber for the past 2 years) and as anyone who has turned on CNN or Fox News can tell you, the only election coverage worth watching is on Comedy Central. Without a full team of writers, the Clusterfuck to the Whitehouse coverage, along with the rest of us, will suffer.
